The United States Citizens and Immigrations Services (USCIS) agency has announced filing fee increases effective December 23, 2016.  The average increase is 21%, but the increases range from 8% to 41% depending on the form.

What can you do?

1. If you are planning to file a form in the near future, please contact me as soon as possible so that we can prepare it in time to file before the fee increases.
2. If you anticipate the need to file forms after December 23, 2016, feel free to call me to check the new fee amount so that you can budget appropriately.

It is important to include the correct fee with your application.  If the fee is incorrect USCIS will reject it.  You can see the full list of forms and their new filing fees here.
